Also included is a more complete history of Tang Soo Do and the list classical Korean Tang Soo Do Hyungs that were shared among the many Korean kwans teaching Tang Soo Do, the relationship between Hyungs and it's animal symbol are discussed, the importance to Tang Soo Do belonging to the early Korean Kwans (schools) and the early Kwan leaders are included. A table of all the early Kwans and details of the Kwan's creator and styles taught at each Kwan is included. Over 200 new drawings of movements have been added for the reader to understand each step of each Hyung making this book one of the finest and complete available for learning beginning and intermediate Tang Soo Do Hyungs. Each drawing is numbered and matches with a numbered written instruction provided. Simple line drawings are included matching Hyung movements and directions of motion for each of step of the Hyung.
